A small wooden acorn, 3D-assembled from a smooth Baltic birch nut body and a textured cap, threaded with a colored satin ribbon. - 3D, not a flat cutout. Most “acorn ornaments” at this price are 1/8″ laser-cut silhouettes that hang flat on the tree. This is an actual 3D acorn — the cap sits on top of the nut, the ribbon runs through the body. It looks like an acorn from any angle on the tree.
- 1/4″ Baltic birch. Thicker than the comps. The acorn has weight to it — it doesn’t spin on the branch, it doesn’t bend the needles, it doesn’t get tossed around when you pack the ornaments away in January.

Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. The wood is finished but not waterproof — don’t soak it, don’t leave it in a damp basement. The satin ribbon will fade in direct sunlight, so rotate the ornaments on the windowsill display or keep them out of the afternoon sun.
A note on the handmade look: The acorn you order won’t be the exact acorn in the listing photo. We mix and match the nut body color, the cap color, and the ribbon from what’s in the shop that week. Some are warm browns with red ribbons, some are dark with green ribbons, some are pale with twine. Every one is a one-of-a-kind.
